Our mission is to unlock the unlimited potential in every student.

 

South Umpqua School District in Oregon offers a wonderful environment for both education and living. The district combines Myrtle Creek, Tri City, and Canyonville into one student-centered educational team. A strong team spirit infuses the five schools with a total of 1,350+ students.

 

Effective leadership, up-to-date curriculum and positive behavior programs help all students do their best work and become their best selves.

 

The district is off Interstate 5 in the beautiful Umpqua Valley, nestled between Grants Pass and Roseburg. To top it off, the area is perfect for fishing, hiking or enjoying surrounding scenery such as Crater Lake National Park and much more.The mild climate with minimal snowfall in winter and moderate summer temperatures adds to the appeal of the area.
